Fire Captain in Richmond charged in fatal boat crash

Fire Captain Steven Nixon, from Richmond, was injured in a boating accident on the Rappahannock River last month and is facing felony charges related to the crash. Nixon is facing involuntary manslaughter charges as well as six other felonies in the crash that killed his brother’s fiancee Amanda Brady, a Henrico school teacher.  The Fire Captain’s son and wife also suffered serious injuries.
