New York City –A 12-year-old boy was crushed by an electric gate at an apartment complex on Sunday.  Yakim McDaniels and other children were trying to see who could hang onto the gate the longest before jumping off.  The child’s hand was caught in the gate and his upper body was crushed against the frame. Dallas, TX –A transgender woman was cited for disorderly conduct for using a women’s restroom at Parkland Hospital.  Paula Witherspoon, 56, entered the bathroom, used a stall, washed her hands and left.  She was possibly the only person in the bathroom at the time.  The complaint was made by a woman sitting in a waiting room outside the bathroom.
